Viziune
O lume în care copiii sunt conștienți de rădăcinile și identitatea lor și cresc cu sentimentul de apartenență și siguranță în orice colț al lumii.
Misiune
Misiunea noastră este să clădim un spațiu comunitar primitor, sigur și respectuos pentru familiile din diasporă, unde copiii români să crească mândri că pot citi și vorbi în limba română de la o vârstă fragedă.
Valori și cum le trăim în munca de bibliotecare
Colaborări entrepreneuriale
În rețea există unitate de nume și colaborăm în regim de voluntariat, de la distanță, în proiecte comune rețelei.
Ne asumăm diferite roluri esențiale și complementare, favorizând astfel schimbul de cunoștințe și dezvoltarea abilităților.
Contribuim la un mediu în care fiecare membru învață și împărtășește din experiențele și competențele proprii, consolidand astfel valoarea asociației / rețelei de sprijin reciproc în voluntariat.
Autonomie locală
Fiecare bibliotecă acționează independent la nivel local, aplicând valorile și identitatea asociației în vecinătatea ei, căutând să ofere și să construiască încredere în comunitatea în care activează.
Rețeaua are rolul de a veni în sprijinul fiecărei bibliotecare, furnizând atât traininguri, materiale care să inspire realizarea locală a atelierelor de joacă și lectură, cat și expertiză cumulată a membrilor asociației și proiecte cărora bibliotecarele să se poată alătura voluntar.
Autonomia locală a fiecărei biblioteci este întotdeauna încurajată.
Integritate
Ne protejăm reciproc, păstrăm confidențialitatea și acționăm cu integritate .
Credem în puterea lucrului în echipă și a cooperării între noi, considerând încrederea reciprocă unul dintre cele mai importante atuuri.
Învățare
Față de piața de carte și evoluția ei.
În crearea de activități pentru copii.
Identificăm noi oportunități de colaborare și le supunem dezbaterii.
Asigurăm vizibilitate bibliotecii în comunitatea din care facem parte.
Avem disponibilitate de a ne implica în dezvoltarea bibliotecii și în implementarea de proiecte asumate la nivel de rețea.
Empatie
Manifestăm interes față de orice familie care dorește să interacționeze cu biblioteca.
Nu ne asociem cu un grup singular și închis.
Demonstrăm empatie față de copii și interes față de preocupările lor.

Mission
Our mission is to build a welcoming, safe and respectful community space for diaspora families, where Romanian children grow up proud of being able to read and speak Romanian from an early age.
Values and how we live them in our daily work
Entrepreneurial collaboration
There is unity of name in the network and we collaborate on a volunteer basis, remotely, in projects common to the network.
We take on different essential and complementary roles, thus fostering the exchange of knowledge and the development of skills.
We contribute to an environment where each member learns and shares from their own experiences and skills, thus strengthening the value of the association / mutual support network in volunteering.
Local autonomy
Each library acts independently at the local level, applying the association’s values and identity to its neighborhood, seeking to provide and build trust in the community in which it operates.
The role of the network is to support each librarian, providing both trainings, materials to inspire the local implementation of play and reading workshops, as well as the accumulated expertise of the association’s members and projects that librarians can join voluntarily.
Local autonomy of each library is always encouraged.
Integrity
We protect each other, maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
We believe in the power of teamwork and cooperation between us, considering mutual trust as one of our most important assets.
Learning
Towards the book market and its evolution.
In creating activities for children.
We identify new opportunities for collaboration and subject them to debate.
We ensure the visibility of the library in the community of which we are a part.
We are available to get involved in the development of the library and in the implementation of projects undertaken at the network level.
Empathy
We are interested in any family that wants to interact with the library.
We do not associate ourselves with a singular and closed group.
We show empathy towards children and interest in their concerns.
